Crank Trigger for MoTeC Engine Management SystemsThere are several ways to trigger the ECU from the crankshaft and some ways have benefits over others. Until now - no one on the market made a bolt on crank trigger with multiple teeth for the MoTeC brand of ECU's.
Our 12 Tooth Crank trigger wheel features 12 flying magnets which are made to trigger the MoTeC M MHALL Hall Effect Sensor. The bolt pattern is standard Chevy so it bolts on easily to a harmonic damper. With 12 teeth, you have increased accuracy of ignition and injection timing. Since it uses a hall effect - you wont lose sync when cranking the engine even when its hot with a weak battery and lots of timing. Trigger wheel is acceptable for the following engines
Standard with 12 teeth but can be ordered with either 4, 6 or 12 teeth to suit your needs.
Driveshaft Trigger for Drag Race Data SystemsDid you ever notice your driveshaft speed does not begin to show up in your data until long after your Accelerometer has began to show acceleration? You are seeing the latency in the signal from the driveshaft to the data recorder. No matter whose logger you use or how fast your logging rate is, you will have to wait to see a signal until at least 2 triggers pass the sensor. This allows the logger to calculate the rpm from the frequency of the triggers. With the FASTMotorsports 12 tooth magnetic driveshaft trigger, you will see the increase in driveshaft speed approximately 4 times sooner than the conventional trigger.
The FASTMotorsports trigger wheel is made to clamp around the yoke on the input of your differential and yields speed signals in an amazing .024 seconds. If you are a pro racer and you are measuring the driveshaft to see the clutch slip you owe it to yourself to own this driveshaft trigger. Compatible with all major data loggers on the market. |
