M4/M48 Options

M4/M48 Advanced Tuning Option - Allows data logging, Traction Control, Wide Band Lambda Control, Anti-Lag as well as additional user defined tables and compensations.

M4/M48 Wide Band Lambda - This option allows the ECU to perform Wide Band Measurement using the LSM-11 Lambda Sensor wired to the ECU.

M400-880 Options

Single Lambda - Allows the ECU to perform Wide Band Measurement using a 5 wire Wide Band Lambda Sensor wired directly to the ECU. Can use either NTK UEGO, Bosch LSU-4 or 4.2 Sensor. Also requires an available auxiliary output to control the sensor's heater

Dual Lambda - Allows the ECU to perform Dual Wide Band Lambda Measurement using 5 wire Wide Band Lambda Sensors wired directly to the ECU. Can use either NTK UEGO, Bosch LSU-4 or 4.2 Sensors. Also requires available auxiliary outputs to control the sensors heaters.

512K Logging - Available on M400 and M600 only. Allows the ECU to perform logging functions which will be stored to the ECU flash memory. Memory is First In First Out which means newest data is always available.

1 Meg Logging - Available on M800 and 880 only. Allows the ECU to perform logging functions which will be stored to the ECU 1 Megabyte flash memory. Memory is First In First Out which means newest data is always available.

4 Meg Logging - Available on M880 only. Allows the ECU to perform logging functions which will be stored to the ECU 4 Megabyte flash memory. Memory is First In First Out which means newest data is always available

Pro Analysis - Available on M800/880 only. This option allows the user to perform complex maths on the data retrieved from the ECU. Channels can be easily renamed to suit a specific purpose as well as several other options allow the data to be further analyzed using special features designed in the I2 Pro software. Highly recommended for Pro race teams or users who use the ECU as their only logging source.

Cam Control - This option allows the ECU to perform a closed loop control of up to 4 independent cams on the engine. Either shuttle valve or multivalve control. Requires available outputs on the ECU for control as well as inputs for positional measurement.  The ECU can determine cam position in terms of degrees with this upgrade.

Telemetry - This option allows the ECU to transmit serial data out of its RS-232 port. This can be connected to a 3rd party transmission device (radio) and received for remote display of parameters on a PC or laptop. This does not allow tuning of the ECU over the telemetry link.

Advanced Tuning - Available for M400 and M600 (standard on M800 and 880 purchased in the US). This option allows the ECU to do several features such as Traction Control, Wide Band Lambda Control, Anti-Lag as well as additional user defined tables and compensations.

10/12 Cylinder Option - Available only on M800/880 - allows the ECU to use 4 ignition outputs as injectors to perform sequential injection on up to 12 cylinder engines. When used in this manner high impedance injectors should be used on all drivers as ignition outputs can only perform saturated drive.

Multipulse - allows the ECU to perform multi-strike ignition and or Multi-pulse injection whereby 2 pulses are used per injection event in an effort to better distribute fuel on those applications that require it.

Overrun Boost - this option can be purchased if Anti-lag is to be used but the additional features listed in Advanced Tuning are not desired.

Ignition Expander Options

Denso Coil Modification - This expander option has a modification done to the circuit board to promote easy starting as well as proper coil dwell during cranking conditions. Removes backfires and kickbacks when cranking using the Expander with Denso 580 Coils.

Digital Display and Data Logger Options

MDD Integrated Switch Assembly - This option is a hardware option. It must be specified at time of purchase or the MDD will need to be shipped to FASTMotorsports. Adds a switch to the back side of the MDD display for the purposes of changing display pages.
